Rochdale refuels on healthy takeaways
Greasy pizzas and deep-fried fish are off the menu as a brand-new healthy eating takeaway proves a huge success at Rochdale Exchange thanks to its delicious protein-based meals.
Shoppers young and old are fuelling up on Refuel’s mouthwatering menu. The street food-inspired café - and run by business partners Dean Coker and Jack Redwood - offers a variety of fresh, nutritious dishes, all made onsite and ready to be collected by hungry customers within minutes of ordering.
Not only proving a huge hit with gym-goers for its huge range of protein-packed smoothies, it is fast becoming the number one choice among families, young people and those keen to grab a healthy meal on the go.
Commenting on the launch of the new café, Dean said: “We are thrilled with just how well our food is being received, not only by those who frequent the gym but by so many members of the community. Our customer base is growing from strength to strength as we provide a refreshing range of meals that are tasty but are quick and easy to make.”
This is Dean and Jack second successful venture, with their first Refuel takeaway enterprise located in Chadderton in Oldham. This opened in May and is now a firm fixture among locals keen for a quick yet satisfying bite to eat.
Lorenzo O’Reilly, Centre Manager at Rochdale Exchange, said he is delighted to see Refuel take-off as a popular eating destination for visitors to the centre. He said: “This is an exciting dining concept and is clearly enticing a steady stream of fans who are thoroughly enjoying its choice in savoury and sweet dishes.
“It is a fantastic fit for our centre and has really cornered the market, not only appealing to gym members but branching out across all demographics of Rochdale. We very much looking forward to working with Refuel and supporting the business as it continues to grow.”
